23 Brigade Requests 10 Hectares of Land to Establish Mami Market...

The Brigadier General Commander B. A. Akinroluyo was at the Ministry of Land and Survey in respect of acquisition of plots of land for Nigeria army market (kasuwan soja).

The chief of army staff recently directed formations in the Nigerian army to establish certain empowerment programme in cantonment and Barracks. This empowerment programme includes medium scale Enterprises and agro allied related investment like establishment of cattle ranches, fish pond and general farming. In line with this, 23 Brigade established a functional cattle Ranch in Gibson jalo cantonment in order to maximize the expected benefits of these empowerment programme, the COAS directed military formation to liaise with their respective state government to establish market in their location/States.

 In view of this the Brigadier General request his Excellence the executive Governor of Adamawa States to please consider the Allocation /approval of 10 hectares of land in jimeta to 23 Brigade for the proposed kasuwan soja in Adamawa state
