EVENT: Governor Bindow's Son Picks a Wife.

Hundreds of personalities  have  jam packed  the palace of  Lamido Adamawa  to witness the  wedding  ceremony  of Awwal Muhammed Umar Jibrilla  (Bindow) the eldest  son of the Governor  of Adamawa state  Senator Muhammed Umar Jibrilla  and  Samira Idris  Aloma on Friday 1st April, 2016.

While  announcing  One Hundred  Thousand Naira (N100,000)  Dowry, the Chief Imam of Yola  Central Mosque  Khadi Ahmadu Bobboi  said the contextual  agreement reached  between the  representatives of the  Groom  and the Bride former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and HRH Lamido Adamawa  Dr Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustafa had agreed  on the  conditions governing the process of  Marriage.

Prayers  were also  offered  for a successful  marriage life of the couple.
During the  reception held at American  University of Nigeria  (AUN), Governor Muhammed Umar Jibrilla  expressed  his delight  and thanked  all those who attended the wedding ceremony  and  prayed Almighty Allah to reward them abundantly.

Important dignitaries at the event includes;Vice President  Professor Yemi  Osinbajo and Former Vice-president Atiku Abubakar, Governors of  Borno, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kano ,Imo, Abia, Benue, Kebbi ,and Niger states were in attendance.Others  includes  FCT Minister Mallam Mohammed Musa Bello, and Minister of Information Lai Mohammed, some states deputy Governors, Officials from the National secretariat  of the APC  Headquarters,  Diplomats  as well as Technocrats  and Business  Tycoons  the Globe were also in attendance.

Some Traditional Rulers that graced the occasion includes; His Royal Highness  Emir of Mubi Alhaji Abubakar Isa Ahmadu, Gangwari Ganye Alhaji Umaru Adamu Sanda, and other Traditional rulers  within  and outside Adamawa State.
