A Thirteen (13) Man Committee on Land Use and Allocation (LUAC) have been Inaugurated by Governor Muhammed Umar Jibrilla .
While performing the inauguration, Governor Muhammed Jibrilla charged Members of the Committee to perform their duties deligently and in accordance with the Land Use act of Adamawa State .
The Governor stressed the importance of Land to the development of the people and the state , saying that Government will be more determine to ensure that Adamawa people use the land for the overall development of the state . He explained that his Government will continue to provide basic social amenities to its citizenry, pointed out that the selection of Members of the Committee was done based on merit and on their individual probity and experience .
Members of the committee includes; Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Land and Survey Hon.Yayaji Mijinyawa as Chairman , Honourable Commissioner for Justice Member, Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Agriculture Member, Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Livestock and Production Member ,Honourable Commissioner of Environment Member, Honourable Commissioner of Commerce and Industries Member , and Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Housing and Urban Development Member.
Other Members are , Honourable Commissioner ministry of Works member , Surveyor General of the state member , General manager State Urban Planning and Development Authority,member , Director Town Planning and the Director Land services in the ministry of Land and Survey as members ,while Heman Hamman Garnvwa the Chief Estate Officer in the ministry of Land and Survey is to serve as the Secretary of the committee .
