Team Adamawa has left their Abuja hall of the University of Illorin to Yola Sunday after fully particiapating in the ten day third edition of the National Youth Games that ended Saturday. The team left with all the athletes and officials led by the Executive Director Adamawa State Sports council Mr. Philip Andrew.
The participated in eight events of Athletics, Karate, Taekwondo, Judo, Table Tennis, Badminton, volleyball and weightlifting, and have won one gold, one silver and one Bronze Medals placing Adamawa on Twenty fifth position out of the Thirty six states of the federation including Abuja.
The Medals came in volleyball gold, With a silver and bronze coming in Badminton Single and double respectively.
All things been equal, the Journey is expected to be a Journey of one and a half day.
