NEWS : Adamawa State Government Gets $ 7,105 Million for Effective Health Care Delivery in the State.

The Adamawa State Government is to benefit from  the  Federal  Government grant of  Seven Million, One  Hundred and  Five  Thousand  United States Dollars for effective Health  Care Delivery  in Adamawa State. 

The Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Information and Strategy, Comrade Ahmad Ibrahim Sajoh alongside Honourable Commissioners  of Health Dr. Fatima Atiku Abubakar and Barriste Suleiman Aliyu Zumo who stated this while addressing  Journalists at the end of the Second  Weekly  State Executive Council Meeting presided over by Governor Muhammad Umar Jibrilla at the Council chambers of the Government House Yola. 

According to the  Information Commissioner, the  EXCO  had received  some fruitful and meaningful  decisions which  includes the  provision of  Democracy Dividends to the people of Adamawa State. 

 The  Council also  resolved  that government  will continue to operate  despite of the  electioneering campaigns, explaining that the  Governor is relaying on the  performance  as a Governor  not necessarily on politics  along. 

He also  stated that  the  Adamawa State  Government has  received a  grant in support of  Seven Million, One Hundred and Five Thousand United States Dollars from the  Federal Government programme through  the Federal  Ministry of  Health  based on the imperative  evsluationin the implementation of  Health care delivery  system in the state. 

The Honourable Commissioner of Health Dr. Fatima Atiku Abubakar also explained that the loan facility was granted by the Federal Government  on behalf of the  states  government for proper  implication of the maternal  and child health  project  aimed at providing  efficient and effective  Health Care Delivery in the rural areas which Adamawa State  performed  creditably well. 

On the  Sports  development,  the Honourable Commissioner Ministry of  Youths and Sports Barrister Suleiman Aliyu Zumo said the  state had successful host the first  ever National Olympic  Committee  meeting and election in the state recently. 

He also  highlighted  that  Adamawa State  was able to won a  Silver and  Bronse  medals in Cheese and  Scrables games during the  National  sports  festival in Abuja  recently. 

Barrister  Suleiman Aliyu Zumo however said that  Governor Muhammad Umar Jibrilla has associated  in getting  the  Two  awards from the  Nigerian  Olympic  Committee and for being  Olympic  friendly  Governor as well as  for participation  the National  Sports  project  where  Adamawa State participated fully during the  Sports  festival, stressing that it is a very  good development in the Areas of  sports in the state.
