Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has condoled the family of late Hon. Hungino Theman Gwadi today, Saturday in Numan.

The Governor who was accompanied by his Deputy, Chief Crowther Seth and other top Government Officials in state said that they were at the family residence of the decease on behalf of the people and Government of Adamawa State to condole them over the loss of their son early this month.

While delivering his condolence message, Governor Fintiri said that death is inevitable and every soul must taste it. He called on the youths to always obey constituted authority and shun all act that will dent their images and the community.

Governor Fintiri reminds the Numan community on the need to coexist with one another and pray that any unfortunate situation will not happen in the community again.
The Governor thereafter described late Hungino as a brother to all and pray to God to grant his soul eternal rest.

Late Hon. Hungino Theman Gwadi was born on 12th November 1975 in Tudun Wada, Kaduna, Kaduna State. He was a former staff of Savannah Sugar Company Numan, he served as Executive Board Member of Adamawa Football Association from 2017 and a match Commissioner with the Nigeria Professional Football League until his death. 
His political career elevated him to serve as Councillor elect to represent Sabon Pegi Ward in Numan under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party. He was the Secretary of PDP in Numan LGA from 2011 to 2015 and later served as Acting Chairman of the party in 2016 before becoming the substantive Chairman in 2017.

Late Gwadi contested in 2018 PDP State House of Assembly Primaries for election of Numan Constituency which he lost. His last political assignment was a returning officer for PDP in 2019 General Election.

Late Hon. Hungino Theman Gwadi died on 10th August 2029  at the age of 44 in a ghastly motor accident involving trailer along Numan- Ngurore.
He is survived with his father, sisters and brothers. He has already been buried on 17th August, 2019 in Numan LGA.
