The
Adamawa State Cash Transfer, a Household Uplifting Programme, holds a One-day Mid Year Review Meeting with Local Government Desk Officers, facilitators, Local Government Chairmen and other Stakeholders, to review past activities of the Programme.
The
meeting was held on Saturday, 17th of August at the Conference Hall of Kinasar Hotel in Girei Local Government Area.
The Head of Unit, Conditional Cash Transfer,
Mrs. Mary A. Yuwadi, in a welcome address stated that the meeting is aimed at reviewing past
activities which include; achievements, challenges, way forward and success
stories of beneficiaries on the programme.
Mean while, some Local Governments Desk Officers and Facilitators enumerated some challenges
they face while carrying out their duties thus;
insecurity, lack of transportation, absence of beneficiaries during
payment among others and for the achievements is that the programme has added
value to the lives of the beneficiaries.
There
was a presentation on the overall view
of House Hold Uplifting activities by
the National Cash Transfer Officer monitoring and evaluation Mr. Yusuf Kachakau.
Those
who grace the occasion include; Chairmen Song and Girei Local Government, Alh. Muhammad Njidda . They applauded the federal government and all
stakeholders involved in touching the lives of the less privileged Nigerians.
