In line with the directives of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and his Deputy Chief Crowther Seth to the leadership of Adamawa State Muslims Council to tour the Local Government Chapters on a thank u visit, The Chairman Muslim Council, Mallam Gambo Jika charged Muslim's Ummah to always appreciate the favour and show gratitude to Almighty Allah, adding that being thankful involves recognizing favour, appreciating it and also showing gratitude towards the giver.
This came to fore when delegation of Muslim Council on behalf of his Excellency Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri visited Maiha, Hong and Gombi to appreciate them for voting him in to office at the just concluded polls
Mallam Gambo Jika maintained that this is the first time in the history of Adamawa that the state government is taking a bold step to unite religious bodies by ensuring peaceful coexistences exist in various communities across the state. He urged all Muslims faithful to embrace the initiative.

Ustaz Usman Nasir who is the Chairman Muslims Council Maiha branch called on Muslims faithful to key into Governor AUF initiative of of peace building to enable him revived the past glory of Adamawa State despite the numerous challenges inherited. Ustaz Nasir urged his followers to always pray for their leaders to succeed as the Holly Qur'an Says
In another remarks the chairman Muslims Council Hong brach Mallam Usman Umar Shall expressed gratitude for the visit and also pledged a hundred percent support to leadership of the current administration. Mallam Usman Shall charged Muslims brothers and Sisters to shun all forms of vices that will disrupt peace in their community as the state government is doing the needful to put an end to the menace
In Gombi the Chairman Muslims Council Gombi branch Alhaji Musa Ibrahim applauded the dexterity and initiative of Governor AUF for appreciating and recognizing them. Alhaji Musa also assured the government of their readiness to give maximum support when ever their attention is needed
