The
Norwagian Union of Journalists ( NORSK)
in collaboration with Nigerian Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), has trained female Journalists in
Adamawa State on Gender Equity and Safety in workplace.
The
two day workshop was held at NUJ Press Centre, Yola with the following theme;- “Gender equity, safety and gender sensitive reporting”. The training exposed gender issues, it specifically looked at how those issues affects women in
the field of Journalism and also increase their gender lens.
