Days after the demise of the Paramount Ruler of the Bachama Kingdom, Lamurde the traditional seat of power of the Bachama Kingdom has continued to witness a growing number of sympathizers.
Similarly, the five (5) first Class Chiefs in the state condoled the Deputy Governor of Adamawa, Chief Crowther Seth and the entire Bachama kingdom over the death of Hama Bachama Homon Honest Irmiya Stephen. The traditional rulers who comprised of Hama Batta, Amna Shelleng, Kwandi Nuguraya, Acting Murum Mbula were led by the Gangwari Ganye, Alhaji Umaru Adamu Sanda.
The Gangwari Ganye expressed shock over the death of the monarch and further described him as a Peace loving person who lived a life worthy of emulation. He noted that contributions of late Hama Bachama on Peace building and unity are enormous but reminded the people to take solace in God bearing in mind about the inevitably of death.
The Brigade Commander of the 23 Brigade Yola, Brigadier General Sani Gambo Mohammed also condoled the immediate family and the entire Bachama kingdom on behalf of the Nigeria Army . The Military Officer said the monarch has contributed a lot in prompting peace in the area. While calling on the family to take the irreparable loss in good faith, he assured the Bachama kingdom of continues support in terms of security.
More so, the State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nurudeen Abdullahi and State Commissioner Independent Corrupt Practices Commission ICPC were also in Lamurde to condole the people over the demise of their king.
Others who were on hand to register their condolences are Chairman Mayo Belwa Local Government Area, representative of First Bank Nigeria PLC, Wives of 21 local Government Chairmen among others.
