The Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Dishi Khobe has said that the Adamawa State House of Assembly has approved the sum of Four Hundred and Fifty Million Naira for procurement of Fertilizer to the State.
This disclosed by the Honourable Commissioner of Agriculture Dr. Dishi Khobe during an exclusive interview with Journalists at State secreSecret complex. He explained that so far, the state has received about Ten Trucks loads of assorted Fertilizer from Bauchi state Fertilizer blending plant.
He added that about One Hundred Trucks of assorted Fertilizer is also expected from Funtua blending plant , Katsina state.
He assured Adamawa state farmers that as soon as the commodity continue to arrive the state, very soon the Ministry will Flagg - off the sales of the Fertilizer at the subsidised rate to farmers.
He however advised Adamawa farmers to rally round the present administration under the able leadership of His Excellency Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as better days are coming.
