Adamawa State House of Assembly today Wednesday 14 of October, 2020 at the commencement of Public Business passed a Bill for a law to amend the Adamawa State Penal Code Law No. 10 of 2018 so as to provide Stiffer Punishment for the offence of Rape and Kidnapping.
The Bill was sponsored by the Hon. Member representing Jada/Mbulo Constituency who is also the Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Hammantukur Yettisuri.
Also with him, 24 Hon. Member of the House Supported him as Co-sponsors.
Again today, the State Assembly have moved a motion on the need for Promoting and upgrading of primary school Teachers in Adamawa State.
The Bill was also sponsored by the Hon. Member representing Hong Constituency, Hon. Bathiya Wesley.
