Today marks a year since i assumed Office as a honourable commissioner Adamawa State Ministry of works and energy development.
It has been a privilege to be offered an opportunity to participate in a larger scene and contribute to the development of our dear state.
So far, under the exceptional leadership of his Excellency RT. Honourable Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, it is safe to say that we have made a great strides, so much has been achieved in the area of infrastructural development among others.
Within the last twelve Months, we have flagged - off over seventeen projects with many near completion and others already completed. These projects include the rehabilitation of roads and washouts, creation of new ones, Construction two fly-o ver Bridges and grade interchange to mitigate flooding, addressing the teeming population of the state all inline with the this administration' s Urban renewal program.
The last twelve months have been incredibly remarkable and fulfilling for me heading an important sector of the state's economy and working with a group of talented and committed people and who have keyed into Governor Fintiri's Vision, working hard and tirelessly to move Adamawa State forward.
I feel extremely lucky to be surrounded by these great men and women of our Ministry
Like every other public Office holder, I'm familiar with the many challenges that comes with the job but with the enormous support i received from family, friends, colleagues and supporters all over, we will sure overcome them and excel as a progressive state.
I remain grateful to the people of Adamawa State for trusting me to lead and to be one of the chief drivers of change through infrastructural development.
The task ahead is far greater than what has been, and as we strive to develop our state and ensure its socio - economic growth, I ask your continued support, prayers and cooperation.
God bless Adamawa State
God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Adamu Atiku Abubakar
Honourable Commissioner Ministry of works and energy development.
