NEWS:Gov. Fintiri Lauds Transport Board, Partners in Transforming Transport Industry in Adamawa.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri lauded Adamawa State Transport Board its partner National Union of Road Transport Workers, Sauki Motors and the various unions working under the board for transforming transport industry in the State.

The Governor commended the transport board and its partners on Tuesday while receiving them on a courtesy visit at the Council Chambers, Government House Yola.

Governor Fintiri appealed to the transport board to close rank and work assiduously with the various unions working under the board so as to continue improving transport section and help in combating criminalities in the state which motorists were victims of the criminals.

He assured that his Government will continue to take positive criticisms and advises that will make Adamawa great.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri enjoined Adamawa Transportation Board to write their challenges inform of memo through the office of the Secretary to the State Government for consideration by his administration.

In his speech, the General Manager Adamawa Transport Board, Comrade Mohammed Tukur Abbo lauded Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for provision of dividends of democracy which cut across all the sector of the economy. He said that the gigantic stride embarked by the Governor has provided an enabling environment for business men to troop into the State for business establishment. 

He noted with importance the road infrastructure construction ongoing across the state have advantages to the motorists. He explaines is ensuring vehicles stand the taste of time, durability and cost less maintenance.

He appealed to Governor Fintiri to consider construction of befitting motor parks across the state in tandem with global best practice, de- limit operation parks, provide high capacity buses to ply major roads in the State capital and provide vehicles to Adamawa Sunshine Transport Company to boost revenue geration of the State.
