NEWS:Governor Says His Administration Believes that" there is Ability in Disability".

The Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri disclosed, Tuesday that his administration believes their is ability in disability.

The Governor also said that his administration has paid attention more than any Government witnessed in the State in according proper attention on the facilities of physical challenge persons at the school build in Jada.

Governor Fintiri stated this while receiving delegation of Join National Association of the People with Physically Challenge on a courtesy visit at the Council Chambers Government House Yola.

The Governor assured the delegation that his administration will continue to support people physical challenge in the State. Adding, his government will address their request one after the other and by the end of his administration physical challenge persons in the state will have course to smile.

Led by the President, Join National Association of People with Physical Challenges in Adamawa, Engr. Sani Garba, thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for granting them audience to channel their demands to the Government while assuring their loyaltyand support to his led administration.

The President who came with bags of prayers said the join association has a cluster of six physical challenge groups which include the Nigeria Association of the Physically Challenge Persons with Disabilities (CRIPPUL), the Nigeria Association of the Blind, Nigeria Association of the Leapers, Nigeria Association of the Deaf, Nigeria Association of the Spinal Code Injuries and the Nigeria Association of the intellectual.

He tabled their prayers to the Government to include among others: Implementation of 2016 disability right commission, Five percent total full package of inclusion in all governmental activities such as political apponitment, employment, skills acquisition and empowerment, Pension and gratuity benefits of the persons with disabilities, Replacement vacancies of persons with disabilities in Ministry if Women Affairs, Removing people with disabilities from Ministry of Women Affairs to Humanitarian Services.

They also required involvelment of the Government to give the associations: five million naira monthly funding to run the affairs of the Association and a means of adequate transportation  by the government to each cluster, by at least given the Association 18 seaters bus.
