Governor Muhammad Bello Mutawalle of Zamfara State alongside his Adamawa State counterpart Rt Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri commissioned some major rural access roads in Hong LG of Adamawa State in fulfilment of Fintiri's promises made during his campaign in 2019.
Speaking at the occasion, H.E. Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said his administration have come to reduce the sufferings of the people through provision of such quality roads, revamping the health sector and providing them with clean water through rapid construction of people's oriented projects.

Mutawalle while commissioning the 25km Kuva Gaya Access Road with river crossing bridge, described the road as an economical road because of its importance to the people of that community. 


The Hon Comm. Ministry For Rural Infrastructure and Community Development Alh Abdullahi A. Prambe in his opening remarks states that the Second Rural Access and Mobility Project (RAMP-2) is a rural intervention project that emerged from Rural Travel and Transport Policy (RTTP) of the World Bank is designed to facilitate sustainable development in the rural areas in partnership with the World Bank and French Development Bank Agency (IDA). The Project Development Objective (PDO) is to improve transport conditions and bring sustained access to the rural population, through rehabilitation and maintaining key rural transport infrastructure in a sustainable manner in selected Nigerian States.  He further states that since the inception and launching of RAMP-2 in Adamawa State in November, 2019, we have made giant strides in the areas of road construction, rehabilitation and maintenance with over 600KMs covered, 19No. of river crossings and about 50 roads maintenance groups across the state, to which the users show their great happiness, appreciation and pray for the continuity of the Fresh Air Government comes 2023.


Speaking on behalf of the benefiting community, the Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon Iya Abbas noted that the road was impassable throughout the tenure of Gov Bindow Umaru Jibrila, adding that residents of Kuva Gaya will surely replicate the support given to Fintiri during the 2019 elections.
