EASTER MESSAGE:Deputy Governor urged Christians to Imbibe the Apirit of Love and Forgiveness

He was speaking during the Easter Sunday service at the Alheri Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria, Chapel of Grace, Jimeta-Yola.

The Deputy Governor, Chief Crowther Seth while imploring the congregation to have a sober reflection during this holy season of Easter congratulated Christian community for a successful easter celebration.

He reminded the faithful that Easter Sunday marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, after his crucifixion  at Calvary.

The Deputy Governor further adviced them not to lose faith, emphasizing that the period represents the renewal of life.

The Preacher, Dean Reverend Herimas Othniel while encouraging Christians not to be deterred by challenges, said Jesus has risen from the death, assuring the faithfuls that victory is theirs.

With a theme; "Grave could not stop him, so nothing can stop him", the Clergyman admonishes the congregation to live righteously.

In the same vein, Chief Seth has encouraged Christians to inculcate the spirit of forgiveness at all times. He gave the word of encouragement during the Easter Sunday service at LCCN No. 1 Girei.

Speaking to the congregation to mark Easter Sunday, Chief Crowther Seth tasked them to repent from their shortcommings and serve God with all sincerity.

He cautioned christians against murmuring which according to him is detrimental to the spiritual growth and development of the church.

The Deputy Governor stressed that Jesus has paid the supreme prize to save mankind from their sins, hence the need for believers to extend such love to one another and by extension, pray for lasting peace and unity in the land.

Dean, Reverend Kemuel Arbain in a sermon urged Christians to shun evil deeds, and be committed to the service of God.

He also encouraged them to imbibe the spirit of giving, reminding them that cheerful givers receives abundant reward.
