NEWS: UPDATE: Deputy Governor Described the just concluded Local Government Council Election as free, credible and transparent in the State.

He gave the assertion in an exclusive interview with newsmen on the aftermath of the polls. He said ,  Electorate in all the 21 Local Government Areas of Adamawa went into Chairmanship and Councillorship elections on Saturday to vote for the candidate of their choice.

The Deputy Governor, Chief Crowther Seth showered praises on the ATM Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for another record breaking of conducting peaceful local government polls in the state. He lauded security agencies and traditional leaders for their efforts at ensuring that the exercise was   rancour free.

The Deputy Governor acknowledged that in every contest, there must be a winner and a looser, calling on the candidates to accept the outcome of the elections in good faith.

The silent achiever Chief Crowther also reminded them that God gives power to whom he desires, hence the need for all and sundry to eschew any form of grievances and rally round the winners for the common good of Adamawa state.

He commended the electorates for their show of maturity at the polls, and adjudged the polls as credible and transparent.

The number two citizen of Adamawa maintained that the disposition and good leadership qualities of governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri will go down the memory lane, adding that the fresh air government will continue to rewrite history in Adamawa as it is poised at providing dividends of democracy to its citizens.
