Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved the release of one point three billion naira to off set the backlog of Gratuity of retired civil servants in the State.
The Governor made publicly the approval, Wednesday while addressing Falu-Maya Bani Elders Forum on solidarity visit to him at the Conference Hall, Government House Yola.
 

The Governor who noted the hardship of the pensioners who are yet to be paid their gratuity after retirement from service for several years, said that his administration is doing it's best to put smiles on the faces of the pensioners and serving Civil Servants.
 

Speaking on the security of the State which has improved, Governor Fintiri said that his administration will continue to provide security of lives and properties of the citizenry.
 

Governor Fintiri disclosed that his Government has approved the electrification of Marraban Bazza to Betso which soon the installations work will commence.
Adding that Bahuli road in Mubi has been approved for construction under Rural Access Mobility Project, RAMP 3.
 

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Chairman, Fali-Mayo Bani Elders Forum, Yerima Shigiri said they were at Government House Yola to thank Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for providing security in the entire Mubi leading to restoration of normalcy that was hitherto interrupted by the activities of criminals. He lauded Governor Fintiri for the projects he embarked on in Mubi, saying it has given the town a new facelift as the Governor promised during his campaign tour to Mubi.
 

Yerima Shigiri said that his people have sense of belonging in the Governor Fintiri's led administration having the Governor appointed their sons and daughters to serve in his government.
 

He appeal to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to consider construction of access road from Ribawa to Muchala among others and construct Cottage Hospital in Ribau which is the centre of Fali while commending the Governor for construction of Primary Healthcare in Vimtim which reached advanced stage and for prompt payment of pensioners their entitlement.
 

Contributing, Baba Goni thanked Governor Fintiri for construction of road from Tsamiya to Bazza, and the ongoing construction of great Mubi by pass. According to him, Kwa to Betso axis has never dreamed of having good constructed access road but the Governor made their dream a reality. He commended Governor Fintiri for  employing children of the masses in the health and education sectors, stressing that the processes of the employment was hitch free.
 

Baba Goni assured their unflinching support to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in his bid for the exalted seat of the state in the 2023.
