INAUGURATION: Steering Committeeon AdolescentGirlsInitiative for Learning and Empowerment Inaugurated in the State.

Acting Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta inaugurates Steering Committee on Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment in her office Wednesday.

The Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment is an additional financing World Bank Assisted Project under the Ministry of Education.

The Initiative commenced in 2021 with the sole mandate of improving educational and economic opportunities of girl child particularly ensuring the educational pursuit of the girl child across the state.

Acting Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta who inaugurated the stearing committee urged them to ensure proper utilization of resources being channel to the Program as Governor Fintiri led Administration is highly committed at reviving the Education Sector for a better and productive society and tasked them to leave up to expectations.

The State Project Coordinator, Umar Idris thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for finding them worthy, assuring that they will do their best for success of the program.
