The Technical working group on Human Capital Development in Adamawa has been inaugurated with a call on them to live up to expectations Friday, 22nd September, 2023
The inauguration of the working group is a step down of the State Steering Committee on Human Capital Development which is the offshoot of the decisions of the National Economic Council to improve the living standard of the citizens by ensuring a Healthy, Educated and Productive Society by the year 2030.
While inaugurating members of the technical working group, Adamawa State Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, who is equally the chairperson of the State Steering Committee on Human Capital Development said the technical working group is saddled with the responsibility of coordinating Human Development issues in the State.
Professor Farauta, also reminded the technical working group of their task of working towards ensuring every policy statement of Government has become a reality in line with the working document presented them.
The Deputy Governor further informed them that the group serves as adviser to State Government so that what ever policies that are pronounced as regards all sectors of Human endeavor has been brought to the door steps of the masses.
Having revealed that focal person and deputy focal person appointed by the Governor will be chairing the technical working group at the State level, Professor Farauta, added that Director Planning, Research and Statistics and other lined Directors from other Ministries make up the technical working group.
