NEWS:The Adamawa State House of Assembly on a familiarization tour to the office of the Surveyor General.

Adamawa State House of Assembly House committee on Land and Survey paid a familiarization visit to the Surveyor General of the State, today, 28 of September, 2023.

The Committee which was led by it's Chairman, Member representing Verre Constituency, Mr Japheth Hammajam who was deputized by the Member representing Madagali Constituency said, the Committee Members are on a visit to  acquaint themselves with the activities of the Office of the Surveyor General or extra ministerial and to see where they can partner in with their programs and work closeranks for a greater goal.

While responding, the Adamawa State Surveyor General Sur.Pwavidon A. Simon welcomed the committee and expressed optimism on how he is ever ready to work with them as partners, he also intimate them on the statutory function of the extra ministerial as cadastral, trigonometric and topographic survey, it's operations and laws guiding it's activities like survey coordinator act, to mention few he also pinpointed some of the challenges as interference in it's activities and operations, inadequate  offices and digital equipments as the world has gone digital.

The Surveyor General also took them on an internal tour to it's operational equipments and facilities. He acknowledge with Keen interest the improvement in budgetary releases he has enjoyed under the present administration of Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri aimed at ensuring professionalism and service delivery.
