Adamawa State Governor,  Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says cultivating healthy interactions, exchange of ideas  and building lasting relationships are basic in advancing the progress of a United Nigeria. 

The Governor stated this while declaring open the 2024 Batch A, Stream Two induction course for 1309 corps members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation camp Damare, Girei Local Government Area on Tuesday.

Governor  Fintiri, represented by his Deputy, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, urged Corps Members to be job creators rather than job seekers through Innovation, Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development.

He advised them  to contribute their quota in building a strong, indivisible, productive and prosperous society as well as sustain the spirit of hard work, perseverance, discipline and remain focused throughout the orientation program and subsequent service year.
The Governor reminded them that the Orientation Camp is a golden opportunity for them to discover their talents and other potentials advising them to utilize the opportunity. 

The State Coordinator NYSC, Muhammed Lawan Ahmed and the Chairman State NYSC Governing Board Barrister Yakubu in their separates contributions said , the Orientation Course is meant to prepare corps members physically and mentally for they are expected to contribute to the progress and development of the Nation as well as individual feats in the service and post-service years.

While saluting Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his purposeful stewardship and generosity to corps members, they reassured the scheme's total support to people oriented policies and programs of the fresh air administration.

The oath of allegiance was administered on them by the state Chief Judge, Justice Hafsat Abdulrahman.
