The Adamawa state government through the ministry for Entrepreneurship Development has conducted a tour to shop for small and medium scale businesses and entrepreneurs that will participate in the domestic trade fair scheduled to take place in Bauchi on the 3rd of May, 2024.

Businesses visited include Sustainable and Environmental friendly charcoal production, tea beverage production, spices and packaged food items, innovative home technology appliances, poultry feed production as well as organic fertilizers and other farming inputs.
The visit could be said to attained success considering the fact that businesses visited are managed by indigenes of the state.

The Honorable Commissioner for Entrepreneurship Development James Iliya led the team and was accompanied by Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Kwaji Duguri, among other officers in the ministry.

The trade fair which is scheduled to hold in Bauchi next is expected to host some selected businesses from Adamawa and is tagged North East Joint Trade Fair.
According to Commissioner James Iliya, state government, is working tirelessly towards the success of the event, as well as focusing on how to achieve collective goal of the Trade Fair, making sure it compete for the best.

Correspondent reports that the Domestic Trade Fair is a decision of Governors of the Six North East  and the aimed at creating bond among the states, to boost and showcase the untapped investment potentials of the North Eastern region as well as promote sub-regional commerce among member states, following devastation by insurgents.
